On April 22, Climate Interfaith celebrated Earth Day at the interreligious sustainability and earth day event organised by Caritas Singapore graced by MP Alvin Tan!
As people from different faith traditions, we may have different visions of heaven, but we share a common home in this Earth, compelling us to:
- Actively Steward the Earth: Move beyond platitudes and rhetoric to concrete climate action that protect our environment, echoing Pope Francis's call in Laudato Si!
- Foster Bonds of Action: Strengthen community ties through shared effort and tangible projects, recognizing that true unity is forged in the "fire" of collaborative action, not mere words!
- Deliver real impact: Through knowledge sharing between diverse communities, will we be able to attain Climate Interfaith's aspirations of having 1) Net-zero, 2) zero-waste, 3) community farms for all places of worship nationwide in Singapore!
Through climate action and interfaith cooperation – will we have a more sustainable and harmonious world for our future generations!
